About This Webinar

Is This Webinar For You?

This case-based session looked at the Neuro-Meridian approach to two very different presentations — rotator cuff syndrome and multiple sclerosis — examining the mechanisms behind neural stimulation and how neuroscience combines with classical channel theory.

Dr Poney Chiang worked through the relevant neuroanatomy for each, how the pathology of rotator cuff syndrome is isolated, and how peripheral nerves are targeted, illustrated with case examples drawn from video, photos, and dissection material.

The webinar was conducted in English and included a live Q&A.

Recommended For
Acupuncturists interested in a neuroanatomy-informed approach to musculoskeletal and neurological presentations.
Background Helpful
No specific prerequisites — the session built its reasoning from the relevant anatomy.
Language
Conducted in English.
Format
Case-based lecture with live Q&A, ~90 minutes, via Zoom

What This Webinar Covered

01

Mechanisms of Neural Stimulation

The thinking behind neural stimulation in a Neuro-Meridian approach, combining neuroscience with channel theory.

02

Isolating Rotator Cuff Pathology

How the pathology of rotator cuff syndrome is identified and isolated.

03

A Neuro-Meridian View of MS

How a Neuro-Meridian approach is considered in multiple sclerosis presentations.

04

The Relevant Neuroanatomy

The neuroanatomy underpinning both rotator cuff and MS presentations.

05

Targeting Peripheral Nerves

How peripheral nerves are targeted, illustrated with video, photos, and dissection material.

06

Live Q&A with Dr Chiang

An open session to explore the cases and clinical reasoning.
