About This Webinar

Is This Webinar For You?

Stroke and complex neurological cases can be among the most challenging an Acupuncturist encounters. Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture (ZSA), developed by Professor Zhu Ming Qing, is a specialised system applied to these presentations, combining classical Chinese medicine with modern neuroanatomy.

In this session, Dr Ru Shan Shy and Dr Sheng Chun Chang discussed the ZSA approach to post-stroke paralysis — what happens in the brain after a stroke, how TCM understands the resulting patterns (Wind, phlegm, blood stasis, and channel blockage), and the key scalp zones for the upper limb, lower limb, and lower jiao.

It included a live case discussion of post-stroke paralysis treatment, with the teachers explaining their clinical reasoning, and closed with a Q&A. Conducted in Mandarin with English translation.
