About This Seminar

One Method for Treating All Conditions

The Balance Method is a key foundation for treating all diseases, internal and external. Developed by Dr Richard Teh-Fu Tan, it focuses on the logical needling of balancing meridians to heal body ailments — based on the Ba Gua relationships and the Chinese Clock.

Module 1 delivers fundamental training on the Five Systems of the Balance Method. Across three days, Acupuncturists learn to convert Western diagnoses into a TCM framework, apply Dr Tan's point combinations, and treat with minimal needling for immediate results.

Course Structure

Day 1 · 3 February

Foundations & Systems One and Two

Introduction to the Balance Method and holographic images, followed by Systems One and Two with live demonstrations.

Day 2 · 4 February

Systems Three, Four and Five

Systems Three, Four and Five, the integration of all systems, and clinical case studies.

Day 3 · 5 February

Clinical Application

Review and a clinical approach to pain, working through specific conditions — shoulder, back, Bell's palsy, shingles — using minimal-needling strategies.

PhD — Board-Certified Acupuncturist

Dr Eileen Han is a board-certified Acupuncturist and a long-time apprentice of Dr Richard Tan, the founder of the Balance Method. She began her apprenticeship with Dr Tan in 1999 and trained extensively alongside him, applying the Balance Method to deliver reliable, effective treatment.

She teaches the Balance Method to Acupuncturists internationally, honouring Dr Tan's legacy through Dr Tan's Core Essentials.
