About This Seminar
Unlock your potential with the Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA) Foundations course. Led by Tetsuharu Kamiya, a direct disciple of Dr Yamamoto, this hands-on seminar teaches diagnostic and treatment methods for neurological disorders.
The course structure includes hands-on practical work (over 50% of the workshop, limited to under 20 participants for personalised guidance), lectures on the philosophy of Yamamoto sensei, diagnostic techniques and 40-point application, and live demonstrations of diagnostic methods, point selection and needling techniques.
What This Seminar Covered
YNSA Basic Points
Fundamental points A–H location, palpation and indications, plus basic points I and J–K (Somatotope).
Sensory Organ & Brain Points
Sensory organ points (eyes, nose, mouth, ear, tinnitus) and brain points location, palpation and indications.
Cranial Nerve & Ypsilon Points
The 12 cranial nerve points and the Ypsilon (Y) points location and function.
Diagnostic Points
Li4 (Hoku) diagnostic-point palpation, upper extremity diagnostic points and neck diagnosis.
Diagnosis & Treatment Flow
The full YNSA diagnosis-and-treatment process flow, with case study review and group practice.

The Presenters
Instructor
Dr Tetsuharu Kamiya
Received a B.S. in Medicine from Shanghai TCM University and is a licensed Acupuncturist in Japan. One of the closest disciples of Dr Yamamoto and a certified instructor of YNSA. He has been involved in spreading YNSA for over 10 years since the establishment of the Japanese YNSA Society, has conducted over 30 seminars across Japan, Taiwan, the UAE and Indonesia, and implements YNSA at Tohoku University Hospital for intractable neurological diseases.
Instructor
Mika Kamiya
Teaching assistant and interpreter, and a disciple of Dr Yamamoto with the Japanese YNSA Society. Holds a degree in athletic training and national qualifications as an Acupuncturist. Completed the advanced YNSA course, learning directly from Dr Yamamoto, and specialises in chronic pain, neurological disorders and sports injuries.
