Dr Michael Chung

A leading authority on Tung's Acupuncture. Teaches the complete Tung system — Human, Earth, and Heaven levels — with a focus on immediate clinical application. Known for clarity, depth, and direct transmission.

Dr Chung studied under Dr Wei-Chieh Young for more than 27 years and was formally adopted as his disciple in 1991, making him one of the major successors of Dr Young's work. He has served as both translator and co-instructor at Tung's Acupuncture workshops across Taiwan, China, the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, and Malaysia.

His dual training in Eastern and Western medicine underpins his teaching: a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from Taipei Medical University, and both an MSc and PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Tianjin University of TCM. He holds Doctor of TCM registration in British Columbia, where he has run his own practice in West Vancouver since 1998, and serves as Chief Examiner for the College of TCM Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC.
