Dr Ru Shan Shy

Direct disciple of Professor Ming Qing Zhu. Worked with Professor Zhu in hospital and clinical settings for decades, and has since taught Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture across Asia, America, Australia, and Europe.

Dr Shy directs the Zhen Ding Shan Chinese Medicine Clinic in Taiwan and has educated more than 2,000 students across Asia in the principles and practice of scalp Acupuncture, mentoring Acupuncturists through hospital internships alongside Professor Zhu. She also lectures at China Medical University on the clinical application of Chinese medicine, drawing on her earlier years as an Acupuncturist at China Medical University Hospital.

Her training spans both medicine and the brain sciences: a Bachelor of Medicine from China Medical University, a Master's from National Taiwan University, and a PhD from the Institute of Neuroscience at Yang-Ming University — a foundation that informs her precise, neurology-aware approach to Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture.
