What are ZSA points?
ZSA points are a thank-you for training in Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture with us. You earn them when you complete a ZSA course and when a colleague you refer attends. You spend them on your next ZSA course.
Which courses do points work on?
Only Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture courses taught by Dr Shy and Dr Chang: Basics and the Advanced courses.
They can’t be used on any other SustainHealth Academy seminar, webinar, program or shop product, such as the Balance Method, Tung’s acupuncture or recordings.
What is a point worth?
One point is worth A$1.00 on a course priced in Australian dollars, €0.60 on a course priced in euros, and US$0.65 on a course priced in US dollars. The value follows the currency of the course you’re booking.
Where can I see my points?
In your ZSA Clinical Passport. It shows your balance, what it’s worth, every point added or used, and when your next points expire.
Sign in with the email address you booked your course with. We email you a sign-in link and a code, so there’s no password to remember.
Earning points
How do I earn points?
- Completing a ZSA course: 5% of what you paid for it, in points.
- Booking early: 200 points when you book before the early-bird price closes.
- Referring a colleague: 250 points once a colleague who used your referral code has attended their course.
- Becoming a ZSA Fellow: a one-off 1,000 points when you’ve completed Basics and all five Advanced courses.
- Welcome balance: a one-off 100 points if you completed a ZSA course before the program started.
When do my points arrive?
At the start of the course’s last day, in the time zone where it’s held. That means you can use them on the last day, for example to book your next course at the desk.
Points for a course don’t show in your balance before then.
My points are less than 5% of the course price. Why?
Points are 5% of the amount you actually paid. Any part of the fee covered by points, seminar credit or a discount doesn’t earn points.
My clinic paid for my seat. Who gets the points?
The practitioner who attends gets them, even if a clinic, employer or someone else paid. If a seat was passed to a colleague, the points for that course go to the colleague who attended.
I think some of my points are missing.
First, check you’re signed in with the email address you booked with. Two email addresses (say, work and personal) can mean two separate records.
If that’s not it, email us at [email protected] with your name and the course, and we’ll look into it.
Using points
How do I use my points?
Two ways:
- In your Passport, choose Book with my points beside the course you want. Your points are already filled in.
- Or book the course as usual and type your points code (it starts with PTS-) in the ZSA points box at checkout.
Points work however you pay: card, bank transfer, a deposit or a payment plan. If you’d rather be invoiced, ask us and we’ll take your points off the invoice.
How many points can I use on one course?
Points can pay for up to 25% of a course fee. Checkout works this out for you and uses only what’s allowed. Anything left over stays in your balance for next time.
You can use points together with an early-bird price or one coupon. Your oldest points are used first.
My points code didn’t work at checkout.
The usual reasons:
- A different email address. Your code only works when you book with the email address on your Passport.
- It isn’t a ZSA course. Points are for ZSA courses with Dr Shy and Dr Chang only.
- The points are set aside for another booking. If you’ve used them on a booking you haven’t finished paying for (a bank transfer or a payment plan), they’re held for that booking.
If none of those fit, please don’t pay full price to get around it. Email [email protected] and we’ll send you an invoice with your points already taken off.
I’ve already paid for a course. Can I still use my points on it?
Email us before the course starts and we’ll see what we can do. If we can’t apply them, nothing is lost: your points stay in your balance for your next ZSA course.
Can I use my points at a course, to book the next one?
Yes. Tell the desk team you’d like to use your points, and have your points code ready (it’s in your Passport). If the system can’t take them on the day, we’ll take your details and email you an invoice with your points already taken off.
Referring a colleague
How does my referral code work?
Share the referral code from your Passport with a colleague who hasn’t taken a ZSA course with us before. They get 400 points’ value off their first ZSA course (A$400, €240 or US$260, depending on the course’s currency). You get 250 points once they’ve attended.
My colleague’s referral code didn’t work.
- It’s only for colleagues who haven’t taken a ZSA course with us before.
- It can’t be used on your own booking.
- It counts as the one coupon allowed on a booking, so it can’t be combined with another coupon.
- It can’t be used on a payment plan booked online. Your colleague can pay in full online, or email us and we’ll invoice them with the referral applied.
My colleague booked. Where are my 250 points?
They arrive once your colleague has attended their course, not when they book. You’ll see them in your Passport then.
Expiry, refunds and the fine print
Do points expire?
Yes, 24 months after the day you earned them. Your Passport shows when your next points expire.
What happens to my points if I cancel or get a refund?
- Money you paid is refunded as money. Points you used go back into your balance.
- Any points the cancelled booking earned are taken back off your balance.
- If you’ve already spent the points that booking earned, your balance can go below zero. Points you earn later fill that gap first.
Can I swap my points for cash or give them to someone else?
No. Points have no cash value. They can’t be exchanged for money, refunded, sold, or moved to another person or account.
Where are the full rules?
